Can the rope be treated for uv
While polypropylene do have a high rate of degradation under UV radiation there are different additives which "take the form of stabilizers, absorbers, or blockers." If you do not have the means to embed your polypro with metal salt fillers like titanium oxide or coat it with carbon black pigment, in theory, one could spray paint the rope (black recommended) and have it protect the rope.
