The Smith Family has been constructing roads, dams, runways, and buildings for the U.S. and local governments, and private owners since the early 1900’s. My Grandfathers both constructed temporary roads and bridges for General Patton’s 3rd Army during World War II, built Air Force facilities and thousands of civilian engineering projects. Quality construction is in our blood. It was this family history and dedication to quality that inspired my own career as an Officer for the U.S. Navy in the Civil Engineers Corp (CEC) and led me to launch my own firm. SmithBuilt was founded in South Carolina’s Lowcountry in 2018. I am a Professional Engineer (P.E.) specializing in Marine Construction, with a promise to give our customers the highest Quality with Integrity. We’re now helping those in our community realize their dreams in designing and building their own waterfront projects, and would love to help you too!
