HAAS Stainless Grand Strand marine-grade type 316 stainless steel cable is the gold standard for cable railing applications, both indoor and outdoor. The 1x19 construction is rigid and resists kinking, allowing for laser-beam-straight cable runs under tension.

Thanks to our proprietary ultrasonic cleaning process, Grand Strand is the cleanest and brightest 1x19 architectural stainless cable. Super-clean cable means greater corrosion resistance because leftover oils and grease from the manufacturing process can cause premature pitting and staining.
Duplex 2205 is a new offering from E-Rigging that undergoes the same manufacturing process as Type 316 Stainless Steel. Both are rated for marine environments, but the Duplex 2205 is seven times more corrosion resistant than Type 316 and especially suited for applications on the beach, and on the East Coast of the United States where the water is exceptionally salty.
