Nautical Rope Staircase Adds Touch of Style to Florida Home

This edition of E-Rigging's Project of the Month features a stunning staircase designed and built by our customer, retired Coast Guard Captain Ted Prosser of Useppa Island, FL. Captain Prosser wanted a nautical theme to go along with the tropical island setting of his home and found the perfect accent pieces at E-Ringing.

Using 300 feet of our half-inch manila rope, paired with some mooring cleats, Capt. Prosser created a showpiece rope staircase that complements the navy color scheme and nautical décor. The rope is tightly wound around the wooden posts and secured with cleats in different hitch styles, creating a unique and eye-catching design.

The staircase is a focal point of the home, and Capt. Prosser says he loves the way it turned out. "It's exactly what I was looking for," he said. "It's sturdy, functional, and it adds a touch of style to my home.

If you're looking for a unique and stylish way to add a nautical touch to your home, consider a staircase made from marine rope. It's a relatively easy project to do yourself, and it's sure to turn heads.

Thank you, Captain Prosser for your contribution! E-Rigging features projects from our creative customers all the time!
